EPA to Seek New Limits on Commercial Truck Pollution
EPA announced earlier this month that the Administration will seek new limits on pollution from commercial trucks. Officials at the agency say pollution rules for commercial vehicles are long overdue for an update after nearly 20 years.
“It’s definitely about time. The world has changed in a lot of ways over those 20 years. One thing we know is that these vehicles can be made cleaner, lower emitting," explained Bill Wehrum, assistant administrator of the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation.

Deloitte Study Shows Worsening of Workforce Crisis
A report released earlier this month from the Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte shows that the widening manufacturing skills gap is expected to grow from about 488,000 jobs left open today to as many as 2.4 million manufacturing jobs unfilled through 2028. As a result, $454 billion in manufacturing GDP could be at risk in 2028.

Legalization of Marijuana in Canada Sparks Conversation on Workplace Safety
Last month's legalization of marijuana in Canada has sparked a conversation about workplace safety. WorkSafeBC, an agency dedicated to preventing workplace death and injury in British Columbia launched a campaign to spread awareness about impairment in the workplace.
“Impairment in the workplace isn’t a new issue in B.C., but it’s become top of mind as cannabis becomes legal for recreational use,” said Tom Brocklehurst, director of prevention practices and quality for WorkSafeBC. “We’re reaching out to employers and workers to remind them that they share responsibility for managing impairment in the workplace.”

Which Paint Colors will Dominate 2019?
