2020 REMODELING PREDICTIONS
Economists from the National Association of Home Builders predict (cautiously) a stable market next year with some slow down towards the end of the year.
Overall economic predictions have varied from a global recession to a growing economy in 2020 but NAHB market reports show a steady confidence in the remodeling market.
“The demand for remodeling is fueled by a healthy labor market and low interest rates,” said NAHB Chief Economist Robert Dietz. “However, the remodeling market is still constrained by high costs and lack of skilled labor.”

The sale is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
TRUMP THREATENS HIGHER TARIFFS IF CHINA DOES NOT AGREE TO TRADE DEAL
Last month President Trump threatened even higher tariffs on Chinese goods if the country cannot make a reasonable deal on trade. The US and China have been locked in a stalemate on trade negotiations. We previously reported on an initial deal, or "phase one" deal, that the two countries agreed to in October, but neither has indicated a path forward.
